Charles Thornton’s forty four years of experience with Thornton Tomasetti have included involvement in the design and construction of hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of projects in the U.S. and overseas, ranging from hospitals, arenas and high-rise buildings, to airports, transportation facilities and special projects.

Globally recognized for professional achievements in the design and project management of facilities. Project Director for the new Shore Health Regional Medical Center. Successfully managed the planning and design of the new 1.6 million sf Johns Hopkins Hospital. Served as the Director of Facilities and Construction Management Services at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
